After breakfast meet the group at the lobby and departure to Kruja hilltown Tour of Kruja fortress The walking tour of Kruja will take you through the cobble stone pathway of Ottoman bazaar, with wooden shops and displays of various gifts and antique household items. Visit within the walls of the castle will include the historic museum dedicated to Scanderbeg and his resistance against the Ottoman invasion. An old house turned to an ethnographic museum will invite you to a unique cultural aspect of life in northern Albania. Lunch at a local restaurant. Drive back to Tirana Tour of Tirana We shall explore the capital city of Albania, including some of the historical highlights, as city centre, Skenderbeg Statue, Et’hem bey mosque, Clock tower, Italian buildings and Martyr’s of the Nation Boulevard. Visit the ex-communist buildings, painted with vibrant colours and the expansion of city. Accommodation and overnight in Tirana.

After breakfast, check out and depart to Durres. Transfer to Durres; Sightseeing of Durres City - Durrës, home to the biggest seaport in the country, is located 34 km away from Tirana. It is the most ancient city in Albania, with almost 3,000 years of history. Its foundation dates back to 627 B.C. when the Corinthians and settlers from Corcyra invaded the Illyrian territory of the Taulants. Explore the ruins of town forum, roman baths, city center, town hall, Roman Amphitheatre, byzantine walls, Venetian tower and archeological museum, a panoramic display of discoveries and urban planning of this once important city. Transfer to Apollonia archaeological site through Fier City. Lunch in a local restaurant. The walking tour of the ancient Apollonian site includes the Encircling Wall, the monuments of Agonothetes, the Library, the Odeon, the Portico, the house with mosaics, Archealogical museum and the Church of St. Mary. Leave Apollonia and drive to Berat. Stop en route to visit COBO winery. Our local host will take us on a tour of the winery, a family business, in their efforts to reinvent the old tradition of the locals for growing wine yards and wine making. We conclude the tour with a sample of wine tasting of 2 red, one white and a special raki, mixture of grape distillation, with strong flavor of walnut. Check in the hotel and prepare for dinner.
